I’ve come to enjoy Rhea’s blog at The Boomer Chronicles, but she is making me dread my own soon-to-be-scheduled colonoscopy — surely the oddest 50th birthday present, though I did enjoy the moment when she was, uh, prepping for the procedure and a telephone solicitor called. She truly was “in the middle of something.” Anyway, as the kids say (I think), serious props to Rhea for sharing. Not sure I’ll do the same, in case you wanted to know.

I was really nervous about the ‘procedure’ but to be honest it was a breeze! Not so the preparation.

I’ve had a sigmoidoscopy (sp?), which my doctor said was like a roller-coaster ride. Not my doctor anymore…jc
